Ward was born in MonroeLouisianaonApril 151976. She attended the private Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. She attended Ouachita High School to complete her second year of studies. But, she transferred from there to River Oaks High School after the summer. She attended Northeast Louisiana University briefly after graduation. Ward left school at the age of 13 and moved in New York so that she could begin modeling. In the years following, she also decided to try acting. In the 70s, Ward was a part-time actress with no credit on the daytime soap All My Children. Then she was offered a brief role in NBC's prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. The daytime soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the young Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999, she started her film career as Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the horror movie The In Crowd. While the film failed to make money in theatres however it did well both on DVD and cable TV. The following year Ward was in a cameo part in the cult film Shallow Hal. Also, she has appeared in several other direct-to DVD films and has made guest appearances on a variety of TV shows, including Friends. In 2009she landed the role Chloe Kmet kothe mother of an unnamed gymna in the ABC Family drama series Make It or Break It which was part in the principal cast during the first two seasons of the show. She married David C. Robinson, the producer. The couple had a son named Cameron.
